Wilmette is a varied, walkable village with housing that spans from 1900s historic homes near the lake to 1950s ranches inland to newer construction near the western edge. We install glass into all of it.
Wilmette housing variety keeps our work interesting. East of Ridge Road, the homes are older, often historic, with character baths that need careful frameless installs. West of Ridge, the homes are newer, the primary baths are bigger, and the glass we install is usually multi-panel.

A 1918 home near Sheridan Road had its primary bath rebuilt with a 60×42 walk-in shower. ⅜″ frameless hinged door with 36″ inline panel, polished-nickel hardware.
An established home off Wilmette Avenue had a 6×4 shower zone. Three-panel ½″ low-iron frameless layout with brushed-nickel hardware.
A 1930s home had a tight second-floor bath the owners had recently retiled. Single ⅜″ pivot panel with brushed-nickel hardware.
Frameless walk-ins with classic hardware are the volume install. Multi-panel ½-inch low-iron is the upgrade for larger primary baths. Polished nickel and brushed nickel remain the dominant finishes; satin brass is emerging.
